1969 - Transervice signs its first contract servicing the New York 7UP fleet in New York, New Jersey and Illinois.

1969 - Transervice Lease Corp. is founded by Messrs. Marsh, Marsh and Jampol. It opens its corporate office in Lake Success, NY.

1978 - Executes its first Dedicated Contract Carriage Agreement with A&P in Ohio.

1971 - Expands Full Service Lease agreement with the Coca Cola Bottling Company.

1979 - 10 Year Anniversary.
1980 - 1989


1980 - TLC signs a Full Service Lease Agreement with the Canada Dry Bottling Company of New York.

1980 - Executes a Full Service Lease Agreement with Walgreens in Illinois. Today, it is the sole Full Service Lease provider for Walgreens' tractors and trailers in the US and Puerto Rico.

1981 - TLC is acquired by the Pittston Company.

1981 - TLC enters into an arrangement to service the Brinks fleet (owned by Pittson) nationwide.

1985 - Transervice is acquired by three Company executives - Ed Flannigan, Dennis Schneider and Dave Goodman.

1983 - Transervice opens a corporate office in Des Plaines, Illinois.

1989 - TLC signs a Full Service Lease Agreement with Airborne Express which is subsequently acquired by DHL.

1990 - 1999

1990 - Transervice Logistics Inc. is formed and encompasses Transervices'
Dedicated Carriage Accounts.

1992 - Dave Goodman retires.

1994 - 25 Year Anniversary.

1996 - TLC begins servicing the New York Times material handling equipment in College Point, NY.

1997 - TLI executes a Dedicated Carriage Agreement with Exide in Texas which expands to California, then Oklahoma and ultimately Kansas and Tennessee.

1998 - TLI begins providing Dedicated Carrier services to the Kroger Company in Indiana. Additional Dedicated Carrier Agreements are executed in 2004 in Colorado and 2007 in Kentucky.

1999 - TLC enters into a Contract Maintenance Agreement with Verizon.
2000 - 2009


2004 - TLC signs a Contract Maintenance Agreement with The New York Times to maintain its road distribution fleet.

2000 - Transervice opens a corporate office in Parsippany, New Jersey.

2007 - Joseph N. Evangelist joins the Company as Executive Vice President.

2007 - ZS Fund LP becomes a major shareholder in Transervice.

2007 - TL Co. begins a Contract Maintenance Agreement with Bell Canada, operating out of 46 locations in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario and operating a Call Center.

2007 - Transervice Lease Co., the Company's Canadian entity, is formed.

2010 - 2019

2011 - Ed Flannigan, then President retires. Succeeded by President, Dennis Schneider.

2012 - The Montreal Port Authority enters into a Contract Maintenance Agreement with TL Co.

2013 - TLC begins a Contract Maintenance Agreement with Bimbo Bakeries USA. Five additional locations are added in the ensuing years.

2015 - TLI begins a Dedicated Contract Carriage arrangement with The Seattle Times.

2015 - Transervice becomes a majority shareholder in Transervice Integrated Solutions, a freight brokerage entity with proprietary software.

2016 - Expands its relationship with Do It Best.

2019 - Transervice provides logistics services for Raynor Garage Doors' North American operations.

2019 - Transervice signs contract with Meijer for a Dedicated Contract Maintenance service at their Wisconsin location.


2020 - Present

2021 - Dennis Schneider, then President retires. Succeeded by now Chief Executive Officer and President, Gregg Nierenberg.

2021 - Alex Lafaras joins Transervice as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President.

2021 - Joseph N. Evangelist, then Executive Vice President retires. Succeeded by now Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Gino Fontana, CTP
